About seven months ago, I posted on my personal blog a collection of all the Barnard-related items I could find during my three month application process. At the time, my collection was considered complete with the addition of my acceptance letter. That all those considerably useless brochures actually meant more than just a visual of my desires and that I finally achieved something that made me swell with pride. Now, with only nine short days until move-in day, I’ve come back to my collection and have found that it is no longer complete. Not until four years of college memories and experiences have spilled over the sides and my diploma rests on top. But until then, this college on a hilltop will only grow more dear to me.
